PLATO® Interactive English

PLATO Interactive English is a process-oriented writing environment that provides a flexible curriculum of writing lessons, readings, and grammar exercises. Students become better writers through a variety of writing assignments from personal experience narratives to persuasive essays and by using built-in word processing, a grammar edit guide, and an online Language Guide. Students prepare work for peer review. Teachers may edit and customize lessons and instruction and can create lessons of their own within the software. Reporting on amount of time students spend working in the system and on their progress is provided.
